Aly and Ben both grew up in Colorado Springs, but met on family vacations in Mexico.  What strikes me as special about this wedding, were the people.  Everybody at this wedding knew how to have a great time, and were so friendly and genuine.  Working with clients who are very interested in their photography makes all the difference!  We really enjoyed shooting this wedding.  Check out the little boy in the shot of Ali walking down the aisle with her dad! *snort*.

I’ve photographed many weddings on beaches, but this is a first.  I stumbled across this screen shot from CNN dot com, and noticed the same pier on Pensacola Beach that is in one of the images on my website.  You can see the pier in both photos.  So sad.

As many of you know, we photograph Alisa Benay’s wedding dress designs fairly often, and she just gave us a heads-up that a whole spread of them ended up in the latest issue of Bride & Bloom Magazine.  Awesome!  First the L.A. Times, and now Bride & Bloom.  Awesome dress designs, and a beautiful model.  Life is good.

It has been two and half years in the designing and testing, but we have finally reached the moment we have been working for.  The ProFusion is ready for launching.

The site has been up for a few months, and we have already sold them on three different continents (North America, Europe, and Australia).  The orders started coming in before we were really ready to ship them, which put us in a tail-spin there for awhile.  We put the site up early just to get some age on the domain (Google must be obeyed), and didn’t expect to get orders until we started marketing the ProFusion.  Who knew?

We have been waiting for so long to be able to hold her, and now she’s here. Naomi Sterling Walters was born on 6 October, 2009. Weighing in at a hefty 8 Lbs, 4.5 Oz, she’s the undisputed cutest baby in the world. Thank you mom, Claire, Roger, Charlotte Geary for capturing the images that I could not, and Laura Luckett from Baby’s Breath Midwifery in Colorado Springs. And least I forget, special thanks to my hero, my two year old son Isaac for being the first to kiss his little sister when she arrived.
