A Great Time to Schedule a Portrait Session

We’ve had a long winter, and now it’s finally starting to warm up!  It’s a great time to schedule an outdoor photo session, especially if you ordered a session through Groupon.  We have quite a few Groupon clients that haven’t scheduled their shoots yet.  For more information on location and what to wear for your shoot as well as contact information go to the Groupon page.  In addition to the Groupon shoots, we are soon going to be offering studio as well as location shoots.  This means headshots, baby portraits, small family portrait sessions as well as commercial work will all be available indoors when the weather is bad or if you are specifically interested in studio portraits.  We’ll let you know when the studio is fully operational so you can make your appointment or gift a newborn session to a friend or family member!  Thanks so much to all our clients.  Here’s some of our favorites from the Groupon sessions so far.

Brady and Lindsay – Groupon Engagement Session

Brady and Lindsay signed a contract with us, and shortly after they saw the Groupon deal. They decided to use their first session to get some engagement photos.  They were such a fun couple to work with, and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding this September.  Here’s some photos of their photo session.

BichVan and Giai’s Portrait Session

We decided to take full advantage of Colorado’s beautiful landscapes with Bichvan and Giai. We had already planned to due this AFTER their wedding. So ladies, don’t worry about Bichvan’s dress. We all hiked 3/4 of a mile to this waterfall. Bichvan was in her dress through the whole hike. I think we had to cross the stream about 9 times, and up and over rocks. You name it, it was not easy to get there. I have some brave…and trusting clients for sure.

Giai helps his Bride into the water. Ever heard of a “trash the tux” session?

BichVan braved the cold Colorado mountian stream water for this shot. I got in the water with her so I don’t wanna hear it! :)

Nicole and Doug in the Springs!

So we’re finally starting to shoot some of these Colorado couples that we have signed since we moved here to beautiful Colorado! Sarah and I are really excited about this couple because they are members of our church, Village Seven Presbyterian here in the Springs. We have had the pleasure to photograph numerous weddings at our former church in Florida, and it always makes it more interesting when we are actually members of the church we are shooting in. This is Nicole and Doug on the back patio of the Broadmoor Hotel on a very wet day. However with the right lighting on your side, the rain and wet can be very dramatic.
It was great to finally meet you Nicole and Doug, and Sarah and I are really looking forward to your wedding.

Man I love this state! I’m so glad we moved here!!!!
