A Great Time to Schedule a Portrait Session

We’ve had a long winter, and now it’s finally starting to warm up! It’s a great time to schedule an outdoor photo session, especially if you ordered a session through Groupon. We have quite a few Groupon clients that haven’t scheduled their shoots yet. For more information on location and what to wear for your shoot as well as contact information go to the Groupon page. In addition to the Groupon shoots, we are soon going to be offering studio as well as location shoots. This means headshots, baby portraits, small family portrait sessions as well as commercial work will all be available indoors when the weather is bad or if you are specifically interested in studio portraits. We’ll let you know when the studio is fully operational so you can make your appointment or gift a newborn session to a friend or family member! Thanks so much to all our clients. Merry Christmas everybody!

This year was special to us, as this is the first year we have had a child old enough to enjoy the presents, and the tree, and all of the fun that goes with Christmas. Isaac is two now, so he had a blast with all of his new toys. Especially the train set! GeoTracks are the best gift for a little guy.

I set up the camera under the tree the night before, and had triggered it remotely to capture Isaac when he came down the hallway and saw his new train set for the first time. I forgot to turn the stinkin’ tree lights on! Grrr…

…That’s ok though, because Isaac is a huge fan. *cuddle*

Isaac got the music talent that is abundant on my dad’s side, so he got a little music set.

More cuddles, but this time it’s with Mickey. Minnie has been shunned in favor of Mickey.

After a job well done, Santa boards his train and heads to another home.

Old High School Photo found!

I just had an amazing experience on FaceBook. An old friend from high school tagged me in a photo, and it blew me away. I didn’t save any photos from high school because…well, I’m a terd. To see this photo from 93-94 just stunned me. This is me with friends outside of autoshop. What I find cool about this photo is all the old cars in it that make it appear to be a photo that is much older than it really is.

Here are some interesting questions about this photo:

Why is it black and white? (another reason this image looks older than it is) Why were we allowed to just hang around outside the autoshop building during school hours? Why haven’t I gained a single pound since high school?………what? why are you laughing?
