Jana and Miles were married July 24th. The ceremony was at Red Rocks. The reception was at the Oxford Hotel in Denver as well as where Jana and her ladies got ready.
Jana and Miles’ wedding was another wonderful opportunity to work with Stacy Pasani of Alexan Events in Denver. Stacy has a way of planning a wedding so that I only have to concentrate on the photography, and I’m able to leave everything else to her and her team.

Jana was adopted as a baby, and both of her moms were present at her wedding. This is Jana’s adoptive mom comforting her after she got her dress on.
Jana’s birth mom also lends a loving hand and a hug.
Jana and a bridesmaid take time out to play a quick game of hide-and-seek…Just kidding. Jana is actually taking a pre-ceremony peak at the reception area at the Oxford that Alexan Events had just finished setting up.

Jana and Miles decided to see each other before the ceremony. This is when they met in the lobby of the Oxford.
I have to say “Hi” to Zane and Grace! You two had me laughing all day.

The Event Designer thought ahead to bring umbrellas for the guests at the ceremony. It was so hot that day it felt like a carribean island in June. These came in very handy later when we used them to soften the light for the family portraits.

Miles and Groomsman have a moment while Jana watches.
Miles is lovingly roasted by Jana’s adoptive family, and given a truck load of gifts that all had a Canada theme. Canada is where they are from, and where Jana grew up.
Jana’s adoptive mom Kristen tears up as she listens to a story about how the two familes came together.
Jana gets a little emotional while hearing a story about how she was reunited with her birth mother and welcomed with loving arms to their family.
