Couture Gowns by Alisa Benay

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to work with couture wedding gown designer, Alisa Benay.  She draws inspiration for her gowns from the Edwardian and Victorian eras and makes them in a style all her own.  With the use of corsets and bustles, she truly knows how to make the female figure appear to its best advantage.  I am pleased to show you the first of many gowns–The Josephine–that I will be photographing in another couple of weeks.  Also modeled is a cameo necklace that she had designed by a local jewelry designer specifically to go with her gowns.

Charlotte Geary - Oh wow, I want that dress. I want to get one and wear it everywhere, and be continually fabulous. Alisa has outdone herself with this work of art! Beautiful photos, Brad… I can’t wait to see the next batch!

Brad Walters - Thanks Charlotte! I’m really looking forward to the next shoot. I’m about to call Tamera to ask her if we can borrow her studio space for it! LOL
