ANGUILLA

Anguilla is truly one of the last true exotic islands. I was surprised to see such a difference between Anguilla and the Bahamas. Although the Bahamas is beautiful, it’s allot like many parts of Florida. Anguilla on the other hand, is truly exotic. I can walk down the beach for half a mile and see noone. The water is so bright, you can see right through it at times. Last night, I waited until dark to go swimming. I just stood there in the ocean for about 20 minutes and looked around. It takes something fairly amazing for me to stand still for 20 minutes. From my side of the island, I could see St. Martin island across the water. Hopefully I’ll end up there one day. When Morgan (the Groom) introduced me last night at the rehearsal dinner, he claimed I had the best job in the world. I would have to agree with that, but had to mention that I haven’t been home in almost 2 1/2 months. Sarah met me in the Bahamas last week though, so that was awesome. I get to go home May 29th!!! Here’s a screen shot from the Cuisinart Resort website here in Anguilla. If you click on the green text above (the post title) it will take you to the resort’s website. Below that, is an image I took last night at Cheryl and Morgan’s rehearsal dinner right outside the resort on the beach.

Off to Anguilla

So……while I’m sitting in the airport, my nemesis Tommy Neel sent me this photo of himself. What is he doing? you don’t wanna know.

Eboni and Anthony’s Bahamas Wedding

Eboni and Anthony were married on the Grand Bahamas Island at the Our Lucaya Resort. Sarah and I were touched at how Eboni, Anthony and their families welcomed us into their families so warmly. I’ve had numerous people tell me how good looking they both are. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Oliver from Maryland.

Traveling Internationally…

…one thing that becomes obvious when you travel allot to weddings is that you should expect to spend allot of time in airports. Sarah and I are sitting in the Bahamas airport coming home from Anthony and Eboni’s Bahamas wedding, so I’m proofing their photos on my screamin’ MacBook Pro. Those of you who know me well, know that I reeeeaaaalllly dislike PC’s. Except for “PC” on the Apple commercials, he’s cool. Sooooo, we’re sitting………and waiting……..and looking at photos, and the emotion in this image jumped out at me. This is Anthony and his Mom. I may post again in a few minutes…..whatever comes to my mind…..cause I’m bored stiff in this airport.

We’re still in the Bahamas…..

……but I just wanted to post at least one photo of Eboni and Anthony before I crash. We just finished the reception, and while I’m dog tired, I wanted to log on and post a photo from the portrait session at the Sheraton at Our Lucaya. Eboni and Anthony welcomed us into their family during this trip and it warmed our hearts. We’re going to bed because we’re gonna get up before sun rise to sit on the beach and watch the sun rise. This place is so beautiful.
