Santa Rosa Beach Wedding with Brooke and Geoff

Brooke and Geoff were married saturday in Santa Rosa Beach Florida. Brooke said she had been planning this wedding all her life. Congratulations Brooke and G-off.

I LOVE THIS SHOT, it tells such a story and there is so much going on in it

The bride and groom sneak a sweet peak at each other while the pastor prays for them

The light during these dances was incredible

The band was a lively bunch

Brooke and Geoff make their get away. After they went through their incredibly large sparklers, Brooke asked me to go find her mom and dad so she could say good bye to them. Very sweet.

Ashley and Daniel

Saturday was Ashley and Daniel’s Wedding day, and the second to last wedding I will shoot in Florida for a little while. Take a look at all the images tagged “Image by Second Photographer Miriam Craft”. Leave a comment if you think Miriam should start her own photography business and take over Florida!

Holy Web Stats

WOW! not sure if this is some kind of fluke or not because I’m surely not a web designer, but these stats are unreal. click on the image and look at the HUGE spike in web traffic to my site in May. There was so much traffic to my site, it crashed for a whole day. Unexplainable I guess.

Cheryl and Morgan’s Anguilla Wedding

As promised, here are a few highlights from Anguilla

Shots of scenic Anguilla

Cheryl and Morgan during their portrait sesssion

A nice catch of the bride and groom in the CuisinArt Resort lobby

The bride approaching the ceremony site

This was surely one of the most scenic locations for a ceremony I have ever seen

These island wedings all require the bride and groom to actually sign the marriage contract right after the ceremony

We decided to do all the “formal” portraits at this Anguilla wedding with the reception guests wandering in the background

"Petal"…my bartender

Petal has been my “bartender” this weekend in Anguilla. Bartender is in “qoutes” because I’m not exactly getting shnickered here or anything, but I have been spending alot of time at the bar because it has internet access. I’m sitting here right now posting to my blog actually. Go me…it’s my birthday. So Petal and I have been having long conversations about how much Anguilla has changed due to tourism, and the positive and negative affects of it. It’s been very iteresting. Anguillians speak mainly engilsh so communication isn’t a problem at all. However, it’s been so much fun listening to Petal, the other bartenders, and other resort employees talk to each other. They speak to tourists in perfect english, but when they speak to each other, you can barely understand them, if you can understand them at all. They’re speaking english, but they have their own dialect. It’s been a running joke at the bar that I have been eve’s dropping on them because they know I’m interested in their culture. Good times. So here’s a shot of Petal and I taken by some guy in the bar that I grabbed and put to work. This may be the last time I post in Anguilla, I have to meet Cheryl and Morgan for their portrait session before the ceremony (yes…before) and from then on it will be a flurry of photography. HEY!….that could be a cool slogan for my business….”Brad Walters Photography….A Flurry of Photography”. Yeeeeaaaah……perhaps not. Stay tuned for highlights of Cheryl and Morgan’s wedding on the island of Anguilla.
